Getting started
Corporation Wars needs an iPhone with iOS 18 or later and an internet connection.
- Open the app and tap Continue with Apple.
- Name your company. Names have 2 to 40 characters, are shown to every player in the city, and can’t be changed later.
- Tap Open the city. Tap Menu, then Addresses, to find land, then buy a plot and build your first business.
Common questions
The app says “This app couldn’t be verified”
Corporation Wars uses Apple’s App Attest to check that it is a genuine copy before it connects. Install the app from TestFlight or the App Store, update iOS, and try again. If the message stays, email us with your iPhone model and iOS version.
How do I play on another iPhone?
Install Corporation Wars and tap Continue with Apple with the same Apple Account. Your company comes back from our server.
Why did my businesses stop earning?
Your businesses produce for eight hours after your last visit. Open the app to keep them earning. Rent you owe keeps being paid from cash while production is stopped.
Why was my lease paused?
Rent is reserved from your company’s cash one hour at a time. If your company can’t cover the next hour, the rent and the business on that land pause, without debt. Once your company has enough cash, resume the lease. After 24 hours of pause, the landlord may end it.
Can I buy credits?
No. Credits, units and dividends exist only in the game. There are no in-app purchases, payments or cash-outs.
How do I turn off sound, music or haptics?
Open Menu and use the Sound effects, Music and Haptics switches.
How do messages work?
When messages are switched on, open Menu, then Messages. The world room is read by every company and keeps messages for 7 days. To talk privately with one company, tap Message under its name on its plot; only your two companies read that conversation, and it keeps messages for 90 days. Messages are plain text up to 280 characters. A word filter refuses offensive words, and you can delete your own message by long-pressing it.
How do I report a message or a company name?
Long-press a message and tap Report message; it hides for you at once. For a name, tap Report name under the company’s name on its plot, or on its units page in Investments. An operator reviews every report and may delete a message, mute a company for a set time or correct an offensive name. We aim to review reports within 24 hours.
How do I block a company?
Tap Block under its name on its plot or in your conversation with it, or long-press one of its messages and tap Block. You won’t see its messages or activity, and neither company can message the other. Trading and offers are unaffected. To unblock, open Menu, Messages, and tap Unblock under Blocked companies.
How do I delete my account?
Open Menu, then Account, and tap Delete account, then authorize again with Apple. Before you have named your company, use Account & access instead. Deletion is permanent and also deletes every message your company wrote. Your company’s buildings, cash and active leases stay in the city as an unowned “Abandoned company”, so other players’ agreements are honored. The Privacy Policy explains what is removed and what stays.
I deleted my account. Why can’t I start a new company?
To protect the shared economy, each installation of the app can create one company. The installation that created your company stays marked when you delete your account, so it can’t create another one.
